Reminder to biology students – bring goggles and closed toe shoes this week for dissection.

NO PARKING in the bus garage area tomorrow for bus inspection.

The West Fork Athletic Booster Club is offering pocket calendars for the 2010-2011 school year.  Cost is $3 if pre-ordered by June 1st, and $4 after June 1.  Forms are available on the school website or in the high school and middle school offices.

Boys’ track pictures are in the office.

Boys’ golf certificates are in the office and can be picked up.

Volleyball certificates are in the office and can be picked up.

TODAY:           

  • Biology frog make-up lab  - will not be after school (due to heat  of the day) – will be done during class
  • Biology crayfish test make-up will be 1st and 2nd mid-day, bring you lunch you will eat while taking the test
  • Cheerleading practice for basketball and football tryouts, 3:30 in middle school gym at Rockwell

 

TUESDAY: 

  • Short meeting, 11:50 in the media center for all the junior students who have signed up to take NIACC Comp and Speech next year as a senior.  It is VERY important to attend this informational meeting in regards to the class (note change from Monday to Tuesday)
  • Cheerleading practice for basketball and football tryouts, 3:30 in middle school gym at Rockwell

 

WEDNESDAY:

  • Junior class picture, 2nd midday – meet in the high school lobby
  • Cheerleading tryouts for basketball and football, 3:30 in middle school gym at Rockwell
     

THURSDAY:

  • Turn in for all girls' track uniforms, meet immediately after school in the north gym.  If you are unable to be there, make sure you get it to Coach Rowe or Coach Twedt before Thursday.

 

FRIDAY:

  • Boys’ basketball meeting, 7:30 a.m. in Mr. Bohman’s room to talk about summer team camps, open gyms, etc
  • 8:30 a.m., school physicals in the multi-purpose room, (Dr. Josh Baker, West Fork Family Medicine Rockwell)  $30 charge - checks are to be made out to the West Fork Booster Club as all proceeds will be donated to the booster club.  For students under 18, a consent form is needed (available for download on the website or middle & high school office)
  • All library books due back to the media center.   Daily fines double for overdue books after today.

 

SATURDAY:  Football Players meet at Rockwell School parking lot at 8:30 a.m. to walk in the Band Fest Parade. We will help promote the Rockwell Lions summer events which are great fundraisers for us!  Get your jersey from Coach Burt if needed.

TUESDAY, JUNE 1:  5:30, Boys’ track-turn in uniforms/warm-ups, receive packets, at Martys in downtown Sheffield.

THURSDAY, JUNE 3:

  • 2010 Pre-Season Football Cook-Out, 6:30 p.m. in Ziedler Park.  Parents and players are invited. An RSVP is helpful, but not required. Contact Mike Kirschbaum at 641.420.0872 or kbaumfam@netins.net.
