Congrats to the shuttle hurdle relay team for being named 2A all-state (Sarah W. Bayley F. Jordan M. Taylor T).
Also to Taylor for being Elite All-State in the high jump and 100 hurdles and 2A All-State in 400 hurdles.
Congratulations to the juniors, who raised the most money in our Food for Africa fundraising drive! Juniors, your reward is two free pieces of pizza and a can of pop for lunch on our Day of Service (courtesy of Dugan’s and the Student Council). Please stop by the office to order your free slices of pizza.
Our estimated fundraising total is $3800!! Great job, Warhawks! We surpassed our goal by $1300!
Students are reminded that you must get an order form to turn in today with your $10 for pizza Thursday. For $10 you get your choice of a large cheese, sausage or pepperoni pizza with 4 cans of pop. If you plan on eating school lunch instead, you will have to sign-up for that by noon today.
Root beer floats will be available again today for $2.00 between 3rd and 4th blocks in the lobby.
Class officers and student council representatives will be elected on Thursday so that we may start planning for next year. If you are interested in serving as a class officer or know whom you would like to have serve, please make sure you are at the meetings on Thursday
A reminder to the following students to turn in their tool waiver to Mrs. Weiner today: Ethan S, Wyatt B and Mark B.
Girls interested in basketball next year that did not make the basketball meeting can pick up info in the office.
The Franklin County and Iowa Depts. of Public Health will update children with the Tdap immunization-a booster for tetanus, diphtheria and pertussis routinely given about 13-14 years old. The free clinics are planned for next fall during a school day for children in grades 7-12. Forms are available in the office and the school website and need to be completed and returned to the office by the end of the week. The form does not obligate you but rather assists us in ordering the vaccine.
REMINDER LUNCH ACCOUNTS NEED TO BE PAID UP BEFORE THE END OF THE SCHOOL YEAR. Check in the office if you do not know what you owe.
The following students can pick up their speech t-shirts when their $20.00 is paid: Holly Hejlik, Jack Rabey, Maddy LeDuc, Brandy Nicholson, Lacey Baysinger. This is due before you can check out.
The West Fork Athletic Booster Club is offering pocket calendars for the 2010-2011 school year. Cost is $3 if pre-ordered by today, and $4 after today. Forms are available on the school website or in the high school and middle school offices.

- 5:30, Boys’ track-turn in uniforms/warm-ups, receive packets, at Paul’s in downtown Sheffield. If you absolutely cannot make it to Marty’s your uniform/warm up must be in the office first thing Tuesday
